Real Wedding: Courtney & Michael

Courtney and Michael’s St. Louis wedding was nothing short of class and sophistication. From her lush bridal bouquet and uniquely combined bridesmaid bouquets to the simple but stylish white ranunculus boutonnieres, the floral design centered on a soft and timeless pastel color palette—with plenty of room for personalization! Courtney’s loosely gathered bouquet was filled with ultra-feminine blooms in white, blush, peach, soft coral, and fresh green, layering petaly garden roses, anemone, ranunculus and peonies, with accents of clematis, trailing jasmine vine, olive boughs, gilded davallia ferns, hostas, and gardenia foliage. This stunning selection of blooms was inspired our uber-creative bride (formerly the designer behind Courtney Callahan Paper, now Instagram style maven @courtneycallahanmyers), who hand-selected a mix of silk ribbons for each of the bouquets and boutonnieres. Her bridesmaids even received custom monogrammed handkerchiefs created by the bride herself! This is the stuff our dream clients (and gal pals) are made of—custom all the way!

After a love-filled and beautiful ceremony, the sun-drenched reception kicked off at the Missouri Botanical Garden, full of friends, family, and garden-inspired décor. The colorful escort card table greeted guests, with blooms meandering through mossy planters, displaying guests’ names on die cut paper on gilded garden stakes. Cocktails took place around the pond—tabletops punctuated by pink peonies in our vintage glass and glowing lanterns throughout, with custom designed linens by Courtney displaying their wedding monogram and design elements seen throughout the paper suite she so lovingly and thoughtfully created to perfection.

The dining room décor was designed around a timelessly chic and elegant aesthetic, befitting of the garden setting and the stylish bride and groom. The head table was covered in soft neutral linen and decorated by a long collection of candlelight and overflowing blooms, complemented by Courtney’s amazing menu design, custom monogrammed napkins, and all of the mixed vintage china patterns, making it a once in a lifetime tablescape. All of the guest tables surrounding them highlighted the same luxurious garden flowers, with arrangements placed in vintage cut glass vessels surrounded by golden candlelight. This dreamy spring wedding celebration was everything it was designed to be and more, leaving the newlyweds, their families, and all of their loving guests swept off their feet.
